I understand now why Terry put me on push to talk. Trouble is I keep forgetting to press it and wonder why everybody is ignoring me. But on a pluss side I can swear at people who carve me up in the race without offending and you can't hear me ordering my next bear.

so what happens if 3 more new drivers appear?
We should be so lucky!!! What do you think should happen if 3 more new drivers joined?
You ended up with a Force India because we have 7 drivers from last season. The 7th ranking car is Sauber which goes to the champion and also scores lowest with my formula. Driver ranking 1 in a car ranking 4 = 1/4 = .25
Car ranked 6 is Force India goes to driver ranked 2nd in a car ranked 5th = 2/5 = .4
if it was down to drivers choice rather than hard allocation you would have choice between Force India and Sauber. Bacon would have choice of any car. Leader gets the choice of whatever is left after all other drivers have chosen.
I think we will agree to differ regarding new drivers. I respect your opinion but don't share it. -

How can you know the unknown?
I enjoyed my season in the Force India. Thats only because, to me, it is not all about winning.
I must confess though that I do not enjoy being lapped 3 times in one race either, but if I am doing as good as I would expect a Force India to do then thats ok by me.
This is not the norm. People who race like to win (me also) but must people (like me) are happy to be competative and maybe win occasionally.
I did suggest a one off assesment race for new drivers but Terry said people aren't honest enough and would drive slow just to get a better car.
I wouldn't want to race with anyone who would do this because it is cheating.
So how would you attract new drivers then? and make them want to stay and become part of what we do every week?
Give them the slowest car and expect them to try and compete for a full season?
This is also the cause of the yo yo effect and why I get a Mclaren this season.
Maybe I should just have kept quite and enjoyed winning.
Although I don't think for one minute that I would win every race because I am just an average driver who can make silly mistakes even in a Mclaren. -

I understand someone having an issue with swapping their car after the cars and drivers have been allocated for the new season. I don't mind if we stick to the allocated cars for this seas. Still think the new drivers should be possitioned in the second cars, mid pqck, as previously suggested. It will be tuff but if I have to stick with the McLaren then I will.

The point is all cars are not the same and all driver skill levels are not the same. The challenge is to come up with a system that gives everybody a fair chance of winning. The allocation of car if matched correctly to each players individual skill level will make for a more enjoyable experience for all, it's just a case of working out the best fo formula that everyone can agree to. The current system is flawed and in need of revision. We should all put our ideas in the pot and the committee can decide the way to go. I have some ideas regarding the points system also. Currently the winner gets the same points irrespective of how many drivers are in the race. The person finishing last score depends mainly on how many drivers are in the race. This Obscure s the overall picture. I believe we should reward people for turning up to race and the last should alw ays get the same. Consistent amount of points, unless DSQ. The winners points should be dependant on the number of drivers in the race. The formula to do this is quite simple.
