Travis Pastrana, Greg Biffle, and Ron Capps are just three of the real-world superstars on an entry list of nearly 30 drivers as iRacing returns to TV this Sunday with the General Tire eShort Course World Cup presented by Fistful of Bourbon, airing at 1PM ET/10AM PT on the CBS Sports Network. The all-star event, which pits real racing pros against some of iRacing’s top Dirt Road drivers, features Pro 2 Stadium Trucks at Wild West Motorsports Park and Pro 4 Stadium Trucks at Crandon International Raceway.
The pro side of the entry list touches nearly form of every professional motorsports, from Pastrana and Bucky Lasek’s rally and rallycross experience to Capps’ legendary NHRA career. Landon Cassill and Parker Kligerman, two of iRacing’s most prominent real-world advocates, join Biffle in representing the NASCAR contingent, while the off-road world brings Baja 1000 winners Alan and Rodrigo Ampudia, Mikey Lawrence, Ronnie Anderson, and up-and-comers Luke Knupp, Connor Barry, and Holden Heitritter to the table.
On the sim racer side, many of iRacing’s current Pro 2 and Pro 4 world record holders are on the entry list, including defending World Cup winner Cameron Pedersen, Knupp, and Josh Edmundson. They’re joined by a number of current and former iRacing World Championship drivers, including iRacing Rallycross veterans Josh Fox and Connor Parise, and World of Outlaws veterans Brandyn Proudfoot, Bobby Sandt Jr., and Joe Lusk. Even multiple eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series teams are represented on the grid, with Williams Esports and Kligerman Sport joining event organizers Jim Beaver eSports in the starting lineup.
